About the SAT

The SAT is taken by high school juniors and seniors as part of their college admission requirements. The SAT measures critical thinking skills alleged by College Board as necessary for success in college.

Our SAT Services

Privates

These one-to-one private sessions offer the student the ability to progress at his or her own pace while building a trusting and comfortable rapport with the tutor. Because of this personal attention, the student’s strong and weak points are targeted efficiently. Skype appointments available upon request.

SAT Small Group

This is an intensive 10-week course aimed at identifying and correcting weaknesses in a student’s performance. Students meet once a week, for 3 hours. Groups are kept small (max 6 students) to enable students to get enough personal attention to master the methods and strategies. Students are administered a simulated practice SAT during week 6 to  assess their progress.

SAT Final Review

Get focused for test day by reviewing methods to tackle more complex problems, time-saving strategies and the most frequently asked questions on the SAT. Methods specific to each type of question are reviewed and mastered to give student control and confidence for test day.

About the ACT

The ACT is a nationally administered, standardized test that helps colleges evaluate candidates. There are 4 sections on this multiple-choice test – English, Mathematics, Reading & Science – and an optional Essay. The test takes 2 hrs 55 mins (plus 40 mins for the Essay). Scores range between 1 and 36.

Why prep for the PSATs?

PSAT prep is ideal for providing the student with a thorough introduction to the PSAT structure, test-taking methods and important strategies. It will also address any initial imbalances between the student’s English and Math performance, and any foundational deficiencies in topics like algebra, geometry, vocabulary, grammar, etc.
